Resilient Minds, Limitless Growth Objectives By the end of the Professional Development Programme, participants will be able to: 1. Understand the concept of resilience and its importance in personal, academic and social development. 2. Develop a growth-oriented mindset that views learning and challenges as opportunities for improvement. 3. Identify healthy strategies for managing everyday stress, setbacks and academic challenges. 4. Promote self-awareness, confidence, perseverance and responsible decision-making among learners. 5. Develop skills for setting realistic goals and maintaining motivation towards their achievement. 6. Encourage positive thinking, adaptability and constructive responses to challenges. 7. Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes students’ sense of belonging. 8. Strengthen communication, collaboration and help-seeking skills among learners. 9. Use reflective and experiential activities to build resilience and lifelong learning habits. 10. Support students in recognising their strengths and developing their potential through continuous learning. Learning Outcomes After completing the PDP, participants will be able to: • Explain the meaning and importance of resilience and growth-oriented thinking. • Identify personal strengths, areas for improvement and learning needs. • Demonstrate constructive responses to setbacks and everyday challenges. • Set achievable learning goals and develop strategies for working towards them. • Use reflection to learn from experiences, mistakes and feedback. • Encourage perseverance, adaptability and a positive approach to learning. • Develop classroom activities that promote confidence, collaboration and problem-solving. • Create a safe and supportive classroom environment where students can participate without fear of making mistakes. • Recognise when a student may need additional support and follow appropriate school support procedures. • Apply resilience-building practices that contribute to students’ holistic development and lifelong learning.
