One Days On-Line Programme on "Professional Development Programme for School Leaders" Organize by DAKSHTAA Time: 04:00pm to 07:00pm Introduction: Leadership is a process of exercising influence to bring positive changes in self, other stakeholders and existing circumstances of the school. A School Leader is committed to provide high quality education to all, that is equitable, inclusive and joyful, focusing on diverse learning needs of children and enhancing their unique capabilities School leaders play a pivotal role in ensuring effective teaching, improved learning outcomes, and the overall development of the school environment. To meet the challenges of the 21st century, school leaders must be equipped with advanced leadership, management, and pedagogical skills. An effective and influential school leader of a school needs to be well-versed with a number of application based concepts such as Competencies, Collaboration, Professional Development, Mindset, Pedagogical, Communication, Leadership and Learning Culture. Para 5.16 – “School Principals and school complex leaders will have similar modular leadership/management workshops and online development opportunities and platforms to continuously improve their own leadership and management skills, and so that they too may share best practices with each other..” This professional development programme is designed to strengthen their competencies and empower them to drive positive change in schools Objectives: • To enhance leadership and managerial skills of school heads. • To develop a vision for effective school governance and instructional leadership. • To equip leaders with strategies for improving teaching-learning practices. • To foster an inclusive, collaborative, and innovative school culture. Expected Outcomes: • Strengthened capacity of school leaders to manage and transform schools. • Improved teaching-learning environment through effective instructional leadership. • Enhanced collaboration between school, teachers, parents, and community. Target Participants: • Principals, Vice-Principals, Head Teachers, Coordinators, and Educational Administrators.
